okay, i have a 2010 mazdaspeed3 and i just bought a hks ssqv3 bov and wen i set evrything up recircluated i dint get noo sound wat so ever??? n e ideas... and i tryed put the cap on the recircluated pipe an i have sound but now check engine light came on??? any ideas on wats the problem

ive got a 27x6x3.5 fmic core i had planned on using for my old speed6. will this size core transfer over to the speed3 or am i shooting for the moon hoping it will fit? the length may be 26in rather than 27 but i forget and would rather be safe than sorry with an opinion on 27in. thanks
