Some websites recommend a pair of load resistors for LED turn signal lights. Will it work or burn out faster if I don't get load resistors?

I finally installed my spoiler that was ordered from Canada. Joe of Toronto Mazda has helped me with the parts that aren't available here in the states. . The spoiler is a direct replacement aside from having to drill a hole for the external brake light just like my 05 .
